Big-Girl "face paint" ♥

 Hello there beautiful people of the Mother City! Cape Town is looking pretty damn bleak out today, wish I was off soooo that I could "hang out" in bed right now! I feel like I haven't seen my favorites in a while now, don't know why but hopefully I see them this weekend :) I'm saving cash, so I'll be on low cost fun. And low cost fun in the rain means very specific things haha! Anyways I wish this day goes quick coz work on fridays always feel never ending. This morning on my way to work I sat in in one of those kak trains where you sit with your back against the windows and sit facing a row of people, so everyone has a seat until a stop where 2 guys decide to stand right in front of me. I was so annoyed coz they spoke so much (I feel like I know them personally now) and the one dude had such an annoying voice and to top it off the train took like 45 mins like WTF right!

I’ve been googling some random things, and I came across some cool makeup trend its dark and mysterious. I think it works as winter is still not over in Cape Town even though is like 30 degrees in certain parts of the country -__- strange but true LOL have a look below at just what I’m talking about…

The look: bold brows and red wine-stained lips

Be very careful about how bold you go for brows! The boys are not crazy about them too how much we obsess over it. Anyways, some people are not so fortunate to have thick brow..well me neither I lack them but thank god for filling them J

The colours: rich deep purple, gunmetal silver for nails and lip colours ranging from clean neutrals to deep red and plum

I think these colours are nice and edgy, however, don't just do the deepest purple coz its trending, make sure you take tones that suit your complexion. So some people have a yellow, red or green undertone. Just be careful, I personally like a moisture filled matte lip

Pretty Peeplez

Its such a gloomy day, all I see is rain out my window and all I can do is fantasize about pretty little things. Before I drift off to my girly place I'd loooove to just mention Miley Cyrus and her ridic little performance with Robin Thicke that went down a few days ago at the MTV award. She was twerking all against the poor guy and looked as if she was in a other world! I saw the faces of Will Smith and his family looking shocked for days and more than disgusted at the 21 year olds moves, all I was doing was laugh till I teared up! Hahaha! It was pretty damn funny you gotta admit she seems to be hitting on coo-koo wall just like a few other hollywood kid stars LOL

Aaanyways I still see rain out the stupid office window, I feel as if this week be taking forever as today is only midweek. at least I'm having a really good hair day for some reason and I'm jamming to Lose yourself to dance- Daft Punk ft Pharell It should be helping but I'm kinda cold, I really suck at dressing properly for the weather. 

Always too little layering or in other cases too many layering that cannot be taken off coz I often dress like a silly little hobo under my big jacket or like stockings under a dress which aren't necessary, I must say I'm glad I didn't decide to wear leggings today like I planned LOL

So all these pretty little stuff varies from makeup to brushes, I absolutely loooove Hello Kitty too, the merchandise is so cute too but here in Cape Town we don't have much choice…its usually for kiddies! I want like a diamante encrusted key ring for my car keys imagine! :D or like a headset and and a phone cover or like a laptop cover OMG so cute! Anyways look at these adobs stuffs!

So I really haven't been really productive today *sigh* not that I have nothing to do, but because I gotta keep sitting around to wait on people I have to sit with to meet and sort some shit out. It bothers me while I sit and know I have things to do when I really have no time –__– Tomorrow doesn't count coz I have to Finnish something LOL! Well theres nothing one can do, but do it fast :) And it hasn't stopped raining since this morning till now….anyways hope you all have a lovely evening guys, tuck in and enjoy your blankies

sweater lovin'

I am more than please to say that this week is going by surprisingly fast. Tomorrow is Friday again and then I get to bond with with a "favorite" Weekend LOL Every single working, studying, busy (or bored) human always asks the same question "can the weekend come already!?" all out of some what excitement or irritation of the week that could be dragging, but don't get me wrong, dragging or not I'll much rather be out on a sunny day on in my bed in the stormy weather.

I've been good, really nothing exciting happening at the moment. I've been thinking really hard about cutting my hair nice and short, like in my neck short coz I've missed easy-peasy bobbish style :) the thing is I've been growing my locks for a while now and I planned to have long hair in summer for top-knots and easy waves…well I'll see how I feel when summer eventually arrives!

Just to let you all know Cape Town is so f*%&ken cold today! And to make temperature even more kak is the fact that the office a/c is so low my finger tips are pink and my lips are now blue so I have on super pink lips that are prob not most office appropriate hahaha! My friends are lippy fans "go bright or just leave it" so I'm trying it just for today lol

I've been having some funny feelings lately and this stupid song by Justin Bieber that my friend suggested I listen to, killed me a little bit when i heard it the first time I won't lie LOL so it seems like I'm using this blog right here as an online journal…don't I feel like Jenna Hamilton using my not so private blog for something a little more personal than what I'm wearing now.  I've been in somewhat of a strange "relationship" with a good friend, and now probably somewhere we should never have been. It was awkward, weird and I felt like the villain in a comic, but you know what? Its turned out totes ok J I just learnt what not to do in future…

Anyways on a lighter, much happier note! It was Eid on Friday and it was so lovely spending it with Family, its always the same, they quite an easy going, really funny bunch ♥ them. So the day was festive and I had a really good relaxing time off. Had an extra long weekend, I was off since Thursday J and being back at the office is a little strange because I can eat lol and it sucks a bit coz now I have to leave normal time again bleh! Sooo I actually got to wear what I planned for on Eid, except I didn't wear wedges and I changed it here and there which turned out better. Have a look at how similar it turned out…

I love everything street wear inspired A LOT and I have to say that Mr Price's "sport luxe" look is really cool, but maybe that’s coz I like sporty things right LOL check it out..BTW I think some of these looks are styled badly what do you think?

As much as I've always like street wear, sport inspired fashion seemed to be perfect when it just came on the scene. Thing is, its been around a while and our retailers are still rocking it. The problem with this trend is that if "Sporty" is your thing, its gonna suck when it dates and you left behind looking old school and out of fashion! Well good news is, if it is similar to what you wear change it up and make it your own coz a big part of fashion is being unique
