Pretending to be busy....

Hello there beauties! Hope Monday was not too much of a kak one for you like it is for most of the world I guess. My terrible Monday blues just hit me today, it like NEVER happens…but as cliché and cheesy as it may sound "Never say never" and please do not judge me for using that line as I'm aware its very Justin Bieber-ish and I am the furthest thing from a "Belieber" I don't hate, I'm just not a fan LOL

Anyways, it seems that work is finally, very slowly but surely coming together and back into the swing of things. I've been back at a work for a week, and today to know I really wish I wasn't here and still laying on a beach somewhere just enjoying the weather and leaving the AC strictly for the car drives….

So now I'm totally killing time and attempting to do so with a post. While getting lunch today with a friend I realized how this sushi place is very social, I kept seeing people I know and even little fame monsters lol This is one of those little bits and bobs of things I'm found on the internet that I find pretty, cool and like ☺

Cute sunnies, see the ocean through your own eyes...or pretty lenses

So now my psycho countdown begins! Less than an hour to go and I'm jamming to Bruno Mars's- Gorilla such an easy…sleazy song LOL another thing I'm gonna have to try today is the art of dodging, its always difficult when the other person is trying the opposite of avoid. Well new year new attitude and I can say exactly how I feel or what I want LOL Hope you All have a great evening!

Back to reality

Hello be-e-a-utiful people! So Happy New Year! Hope 2014 is a good one for All ☺ and we try and stick to our resolutions if we have some. This year I decided on none, as every year they somehow always fall through; so I have goals that I need to set dead lines for…
Today is my third day at work, i really would like to pull my hair out coz I'm that bored. The weather in Cape Town has been somewhat strange! Rain in the middle of summer and to make it worse is that it's cold which is so weird!

So I started my new year on a good note, I went on the best holiday ever! ♥ Visited Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE- amazing experiences. So activities varied from the Night Safari in Dubai's desert to Atlantis water park at The Palm. Both amazing experiences, the deserts beauty of endless dunes to a lovely lounge after a wild drive across the sand was so crazy! Atlantis's slides and almost water like coasters were also amazing along with the scary steep slide which was so much fun!

The Desert Safari- at sunset. So beautiful and a really Middle Eastern experience.

The camp site, where you lounge until the tour is over. It's in the middle of nowhere but it is so cool, there is henna tattoos, food and drinks included as well as entertainment.
Camel rides lol
Belly Dancer doing her dancing to arabian music
Buffet dinner, kebabs, potatoes, noodles. Options really varied but this was my meal
Fun in the sun, water slides, coasters and pools...
The drive to Atlantis
"The leap of faith" Steepest water slide ever! So intense.
Then in Abu Dhabi we visited Ferrari World and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Going on the fastest roller coaster in the world did not agree with me unfortunately lol BUT I'm glad I got to do it and even more amazed that my Aunt went on it *Sjoe*- Acceleration: 0-240km/h in 4.9sec, 0 -100km/h in 2sec. Anyways the Grand Mosque was a breathtaking building, the opulence of the architecture and interior was something so different.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

Ferrari World, this park really looked like am alien space hub lol but truly amazing

This ride you sit in Ferraris, cool and speedy lol

Highlights included seeing Theee taaaallest building in the world…The Burj Khalifa stunning! You cannot believe how tall it is lol and then the Burj Al Arab, the only 7 star hotel in the world. At Jumeirah The Palm.

Burj Khalifa (Khalifa Tower) named after the UAE president- Khalifa Bin Zayed
Burj Al Arab (Building of the Arabs)
Jumeirah Beach
And last but not least, what's a holiday without a little shopping!? So this is how we do it! LOL! Visited Global Village, a very cute place with little shops from all over the world

Global Village

Dubai Mall

Just a few little pieces i got myself
Hope you all have some insight on dubai now, you feel safe because no one bothers you and it is such a clean place. Would definitely recommend it to the world! But remember one place one time, only until you've seen it all... Have a great Wednesday and deal with this weather a little bit longer…hopefully the sunshine pops up soon again ☺

The Legacy

Hello beautiful people, as you know South Africa a long with the rest of the world are mourning the death of ex president Nelson 'Rholihlahla' Mandela. A man who has changed the world and many lives, we should not be mourning but celebrating his a long and full life. My Grandparents have experienced Apartheid first hand, it sounded quite horrific, my parents have also experienced it. We should all be grateful for the change that has come to us. Our  country has overcome Apartheid as a nation and Tata Madiba has forgiven everyone who has wronged him, Madiba (His nickname) wanted everyone to live in peace amongst each other in equality and his long walk to freedom has sure built us our rainbow nation.

Here are a few pics showing how people really loved him, the father our nation…
"There is no passion to be found playing small- in settling for a life that is less than one you are capable of living"- Madiba

Cape Town- City Hall
The Grand Parade- Cape Town - South Africa

Madiba was a well known, greatly loved and was deeply appreciated as a world icon and inspirer. All world leaders to ordinary people and even international celebrities have been part of his memorial. From the first day Our country overcame oppression we have been granted the opportunity to be the best people we are meant to be J and by this I mean that we should live in peace and equality….

Can this year be over already!

Hello beautiful people! I hope I’m not the only person who agrees with my blog title LOL thing is I’ve been waiting quite a while for December to happen…now that its here I wish I can get a little more excited already! I am slowly starting my count down to my big vacation BUT I saw my name on my ticket so that’s exciting! So now that you know my name is on a flight ticket you know I’ll be going on a big holiday! Hint…CPT - DXB i not only wanna buy some cool things, i also wanna see the aquarium, enjoy the desert safari and go on the fattest roller coaster in the world are just a few to mention J

So Cape Town is officially going into the festive season and I already see people losing their shit over xmas gifts, shame! Anyways the weather has slowly started to kick into summer although it has been crazy windy its also been ridiculously hot! sadly its cold in the office.

Anyways in previous posts I'm pretty sure you've noticed how I quite like pastels, not on myself but in general. Finally I decided to get me some mint nail polish and oh so gross they look on m skin tone for some reason! I did a slightly lighter cracked version on my ring finger on each hand…FAIL LOL omgeee I just had a slice of double chocolate cake at half ten this morning! Wrong wrong wrong on so many levels eish! But you know what who cares LOL I starve I don't lose I eat I don't gain so I think that’s a sign to not give too much of a f%!k right

Right now I'm listening to: Frank Ocean- Lost (Jamming hard to this one LOL)

Today I am wearing:
Grey high waist chinos- Poetry
White Ovoid tee- Cotton On
Black Cardigan- H&M
Black Supergas- Sport Scene
Ring set- Woolies and black Ice watch

Anyways this is what's recently been done in the mother city…

Check the site out J The Galileo open-air cinema-

We watched Mama Mia and it was so adorbs for days! a total chick flick i've seen a million times...musicals can be arb sometimes but i do like myself a little silly things at times. I'd like to see some more films before its over

http://www.webtickets.co.za/event.aspx?itemid=407362480

So it’s also that time of the year when you wish it could be over already! And now I just get an attachment around the time I have nothing to do FML and to make matters worse I reeeeeally wanna pinterest and blog but its so difficult when you have Owls looking over at your mofo giant screen bleh! Anyways the day is almost and officially over for me...

Anyways besides my highly irritated self at the business of work i feel inspired by this look! the coolest trend on the block for SS14...
It's called "TOMORROWS YESTERDAY" a monochrome black and white main focused trend. Think of easy but modern shapes, simple but super chic  J

So that's what has inspired me to be a little bit more daring with my choice of clothes. I am almost safe when it comes to fashion which is almost the most ridiculous thing i can say! almost like a clown not being an idiot right lol but i hope i can rub off some of my insight on trends once in a while. I'm sure most of you are already quite daring, dare to be different...cliche and VERY cheesy but so true.
