Summers all about being easy and laid back, take everyday as it comes and just be :) People always think that fashion is something to follow religiously, however not all of is can always pull off an entire look. The thing about fashion, for me is; take a little bit of this and that and put together to make your own style. I often see how 'alike' our local peeps are just following each other and forget that they have their own taste. When something is on trend it doesn't mean you have to wear a full look, you often look like you try to hard if you a total fashion fad...

Small things like sunnies are a total 'DO' for summer! it pulls things together nicely. It doesn't need to be fancy once, especially ones that fit a trend- try Spitfire, like the above.

Every female must own at least one crop top for this summer, pair it up with shorts, skirts, trousers, basically anything :) All local stores have them in stock now a days, try Woolworths, Mr Price and YDE for simple ones and for some unique ones The Lot and wardrobe

'NATIVE AMERICAN CHIC'

Native American chic, or 'tribal' chic has reinvented itself and is totally kicking it! I love this trend because it is ultra feminine and totally sophisticated, but still fun because of the accessories and little pieces that complete the look. This is a trend that can be dressed up to formals but is more advisable for casual wear- its a total thumbs up for beach vibes. I have recently seen a lot of on trend pieces in stores, however our local peeps are not yet rocking their Apache threads! So take a look and feel inspired...

Check this little look put together, its sooo simple! Get an awesome body-con dress that is preferably a knit in a cool print and pair it with natural colored wedge sandals! To finish the look wear a fringed bag and keep hair simple and chic in a middle path with loose waves. Keep makeup beautiful with a soft nude lip and smoldering eye

 Accessories are so much fun! Bar rings that cover 2-3 fingers are awesome! Anyways when doing the dress up for this trend always be excessive with arm 'blingage' (accessories) whether it be chunky wooden/ bronze/ printed bangles- wear them all! And natural things like wood, crystals and stones, leather, suede and fringing made really great accessories for this trend. You could even braid a piece of leather in your hair :)

So remember, always keep hair easy 'peasy'! Don't use too many styling products and don't try and flat iron your hair too much unless you going for an ultra sleek look: but then do a braid in the front. Loose waves, messy side plaits, hair all loosely pulled up and away from the face is perfect :)

Makeup always a matte foundation, a matte lip and bold eyes- also opt for deep brown shades and bronze tones for amazing effect! Matching nails pulls it through nicely :)
