FIND THE PERFECT 'LBD' FOR YOUR SHAPE!

 So I haven't updated in a while cos I've been so busy busy finally started my own business...so watch this space peeps :) anyways i'll be informing you on body types and how to pick out the perfect little black dress. read more you might learn something you might need ;) 

...THE HOURGLASS...
Being an hourglass you basically have the perfect shape, however if you put the wrong styles on your body you can end up looking big busted, apple shapes or like a block
What to wear:
·         Asymmetrical dresses work great for you its shows off your curves
·        Fitted, body-con dresses are also lovely, it shows off your assets
What not to wear:
·        Don’t try and wear things that are too loose, especially around the waist it can cause you to look waist-less
·        Also don’t wear stuff with too many flounces and frills

...THE PETITE FRAME...
Having a petite shape you often look like your clothing doesn’t fit you and you look like you drowning, steer clear of oversized, it the most unflattering for you.
What to wear:
·         *Wear a dress  that fits you properly, not too much structure not too fitted either
·         *Try wearing dresses that well cut styles, low necklines and dainty little detailing like lace and rouching
·         Also wear styles that flare in an A-line and keep your hemline slightly above or on your knee
*What not to wear:
·         *Don’t wear big loose and oversized dresses
·         *Also do not wear dresses with too many frills and flounces, you may get lost in it

If you’ve got a big bust try and flatter them not make yourself look uncomfortable and wrong
What to wear:
·         Low V-necks. It draws focus down and away from your boobs
·         Dresses with detail on the hem, like flounces and frills
What not to wear:
·         High necklines, it will only make your bust look bigger
·         Halter necks







...SIMPLE LOOKS THAT WORK... 



...INVERTED TRIANGLE...
As an inverted triangle you have wide shoulders and it makes your hips look narrower than they actually are.  There are some simple and easy things to keep in mind when dressing for your shape
What to wear:
·         Wear square necklines as it creates and illusion of wider hips or narrower shoulders
·         Also wear scooped out necklines that has broad straps as it brings your shoulders together
·         Wear dresses that are slightly poofy at the bottom and flared and it draws attention down, also frills, and any detail is a winner
What not to wear:
·         Steer clear of halter necks it will make your shoulders look much wider
·         Don’t wear fitted dresses, it will make your bottom look smaller than it is

...THE PEAR SHAPE...
Sometimes having a pear shape can make you look heavy from the hips down, however you have a tin waist and it is actually a lot simpler to dress for your shape than you think J
What to wear:
·         Wear empire waist dresses, flare from under the bust will create better proportion, your hips will look narrower
·         Try styles with a waist band, it will show off your waist line and it will become the focal point
·         Make sure your hem is flare and fuller than the top, even try a dresses where the sleeves become the main focus, making your shoulders and hips look even
·         Halter neck also work it makes your shoulders appear wider
What not to wear:
·         Don’t wear super body-con dresses it will emphasize your shape

The apple body shape is generally fuller around the mid-section. The stomach is usually the problem women think is had to cover up, however dressing for this shape is way easier than thought to be :) What to wear:
Try wearing wrap dresses as they're quite flattering, the cross over creates clean lines that cover your problem area and show off you assets.
·         V-neck styles as it elongates your upper body and draws attention away from your middle.
·         Loose style dresses are also flattering as long as it has some really great detailing. 
What not to wear:
·         Fitted and clingy fabric dresses, as it will accentuate what you try hiding
·         Don’t wear dresses with a too high hem line, it will cut you short

If you are boy shaped or athletic, you lack some feminine curves, but don’t worry there are ways to create these curves J
What to wear:
·         Structured dresses, something with a shape, flare at the hem and cinched at the waist
·         Also wear dresses with small feminine detail like gathers and pleats from the waist down
What no to wear:
·         Straight and fitted dresses, you’ll end up looking like a block

Stick to warm colours for an auntumny feel, also reds and deeper shades tend to be hot with the overall look
